We are Taylyn and Mandy (informally known as “Tandy”). We met and worked side-by-side at Honest Tea, based in Bethesda MD, and then remotely after Taylyn relocated to Charlotte NC - mastering the art of co-design and screen sharing. We continue to spend endless hours sharing ideas, inspiring and motivating each other - and always finding ways to collaborate. When you find someone you work with so well (and never tire of) you don’t let them get away.

We left our in-house roles behind to share our industry knowledge with a broader range of food + hospitality brands. Our mission is to bridge the gap between the efficient and flexible nature of an in-house design team with the fresh perspective of agency thinking. We’ve seen both sides - the opportunities and the obstacles. By becoming an extension of your team, we aim to create a collaborative partnership with a seamless design process. Think of us as your “in-house designers” that just so happen to be in a different “house”.

Let’s treat ourselves!

Whether it’s a special occasion or making it through work on a Tuesday, there is always something to celebrate. Big or small, don’t be ashamed to indulge in that pizza or watch one more episode of your favorite show. You deserve it! We have gotten pretty good at celebrating life’s little moments ;)

There is always room for dessert.

Literally and figuratively. We love a good ice-cream cone but this is more about life than an after dinner treat. There is always room for more. More togetherness. More travel. More laughter. Keep doing the things that bring you joy. Have your donut and eat it too!

Shop local. Eat local.

We are all in this together. Support your local shops, restaurants and entrepreneurs because you have the power to help them succeed. The products are unique and the food is always better! Don't forget to chat up the owner, they probably have an amazing story to tell.

It’s about the people at the table, not the food on the plate.

Gathering for a meal with people we love has become such a cherished experience. Visiting with family we haven’t seen in a while, celebrating with friends or having a date night with just the two of us - most of these occur around the dinner table (or breakfast table if Taylyn has anything to do with it). Don’t get us wrong, we care a lot about what is on the plate too!

Traveling makes home so much sweeter.

Our list of travel destinations keeps growing and we could not be more thankful. Exploring new places, meeting new people, and learning about other cultures is what fuels us. But when our worldly adventures come to an end, home is always waiting. This home is where real life happens and traveling makes us appreciate that so much more.

list maker, frequent traveler and self proclaimed foodie // Taylyn has worked in hospitality for a lifetime (growing up in a family-owned restaurant) and has spent her entire design career focused on the food & beverage industry. She loves to eat + travel and loves to design - win, win!

She works with food & hospitality businesses to craft visually stunning brands that elevate guest experiences. Her mission is to communicate the uniqueness of a brand through thoughtful design.

When not traveling abroad, Taylyn can be found at a local restaurant with her husband (Ross), cuddling her dog children (Etta & Tenley) or planning their next big trip!

MANDY COELHO

designer by choice, perfectionist by dna // Having grown up near Washington, DC and its world-renowned museums, Mandy was exposed to art, architecture and design from an early age and has always loved to create.

She loves to focus on the next big idea and obsess over the smallest details. With a keen eye for color and meticulous attention to detail, she enjoys problem solving and adapts to any challenge thrown at her.

When not designing, painting in her home studio (see her art here), or spending time with her husband and two teenage sons, she can be found exploring new cities in search of photo-worthy public art and the perfect meal.

Think of us as your “in-house designers” that just so happen to be in a different “house”.
